Cacao

Cacao beans can be found growing within brightly coloured red and yellow shells on the Theobroma cacao tree. In contrast to cocoa, ‘cacao’ refers to the natural derivatives from the cacao bean, such as paste, butter, nibs, and powder. Cacao is great for its mood-boosting properties, supporting cognitive function, and protecting cells from oxidative stress.
