Our organic barleygrass powder is produced by cutting the young leaf blades before they reach the jointing stage; a process whereby the leaf blades split and elongate forming the stem of the mature barley plant. Cutting the blades at the stage preserves chlorophyll and amino acids, ensuring maximum nutritional content before the leaves are dried and milled.
